Folks on the Twitter cracked on Donald Trump after he thanked himself
by Nathan'ette Burdine: December 30, 2016

The hashtag Thanks Donald began trending after Donald Trump (Street Corner Donald) tweeted a thank you to himself for increasing the Consumer Confidence Index to its highest point, 113.7, in 15 years.

The Conference Board reported that the Consumer Confidence Index increased due to folks’ high expectations that Street Corner Donald will bring them good fortunes.

However, the director of economic indicators, Lynn Franco, warned that the Consumer Confidence Index could decrease if folks believe their fortunes aren’t as good as they want them to be.

As Franco directly put it “Looking ahead to 2017, consumers’ continued optimism will depend on whether or not their expectations are realized.”

Needless to say, many folks on the Twitter don’t believe the consumers’ “expectations” will be “realized” under a President Trump.

Street Corner Donald’s shady business practices and his questionable charitable giving have folks doubting anything but bad can be realized under the soon-to-be 45th president of these United States.

Mark Ellis tweeted, “#thanksdonald not paying taxes, cheating on your wife, donations, encouraging violence.”

Directioner Writer thanked Street Corner Donald for not living up to the expectations of a president and for showing folks that “you don’t have to have class, kindness, morals and good spelling” in order to be the president.

Girls Really Rule sarcastically thanked Street Corner Donald for making sure that his “Narcisstic Personality Disorder” wouldn’t be “eclipsed by” his “pathological lying.”

For these folks, the only thing Street Corner Donald can be given credit for is making wrong right.

And the wrongs that Street Corner Donald has made right in the public square are uncouthness, rudeness, selfishness, and being a complete nimpkoopoo.
